Bakertree

Baking for forest spirits

Bakertree is a 2D platformer about Xylem the Gnome, who bakes treats to share with forest spirits. You run, jump, dash and climb while preparing baked goods and avoiding enemies, including marauding yeast and hungry possums.

Machines and offerings

You operate machines to freeze, blend, grate, grind and churn ingredients into increasingly complex dishes. The forest spirits’ favor helps your tree grow, and you can use it to install new machines. More complex treats make the tree grow faster. Some spirits are more insistent than others, so you’ll need to prepare their offerings mid-round to get them to leave you alone while you work.
