Bad Things Might Happen is a short incremental game for PC, framed as social commentary on the costs of AI. Over the span of a single week, you build AI services and work toward a model with 900 trillion parameters.

Servers and sacrifices

You buy servers, GPUs, and RAM, filling your house with infrastructure and replacing furniture to make room. Research starts manually, then advances to automatic model training. To finance the spending, you sell furniture, personal items, and memorabilia. The game’s target is a model with 900 trillion parameters.
