Backseat Drivers Friend's Pass

Game overview and modes

Backseat Drivers Friend's Pass is a co-op game for PC where players navigate a dysfunctional car through various challenging environments. One player acts as the driver, who lacks visibility of the surroundings, while the other player, seated as a passenger in the back, must provide instructions based on their view. Communication is essential to avoid crashes and manage the car's failing components. The game supports local and online multiplayer, allowing a minimum of two players, with an optional "Friend Pass" that lets one player join for free if another owns the game.

Co-op dynamics

In this game, coordination is key. The driver must listen carefully to the passenger's directions to steer the car successfully over different terrain, which can include mountains, subway tunnels, and highways. The passenger's ability to see the road ahead contrasts with the driver's experience of handling a car that is falling apart. When mistakes happen, both players share the blame, highlighting the importance of teamwork.
