Babel Destiny

Tower of Babel

Babel Destiny is a hardcore isometric soulslike set in the Tower of Babel, which God sealed with the confusion of tongues rather than destroying. You climb as an envoy carrying a rod and a bell, without knowing the tower’s language. The game’s full climb spans four strata, with four keepers and forty floors.

Reading attacks

Each enemy signals an attack with a word. A red word means the blow can’t be stopped, so you need to roll. The tower’s statues teach you the letters; once you learn a word, the same attack appears in white and can be parried just as it lands. Parrying four attacks in a row makes the fourth one burst.
