Atha: In Search of the Well

Atha: In Search of the Well Brings Adventure to Life

In Atha: In Search of the Well, players step into a magical world, Onomalia, where they’ll encounter strange events threatening the land's existence. This 2D platform adventure game draws heavily from northeastern culture through its storytelling style, music, and visual elements. Players take on the role of Atha, accompanied by his companion Bia, navigating vibrant levels while uncovering the mystery behind the realm’s impending destruction.

Engaging Storytelling Rooted in Culture

Narration in the game is presented as a cordel, a traditional Brazilian literary format that adds a rich cultural layer to the gameplay. With influences from baião music and visually striking woodcut animations, players are not just participants; they are part of a compelling narrative that deeply connects to the aesthetics of northeastern Brazil. The environment and story encourage engagement with its mythos, enhancing the adventure.
