Traffic-led city building

Arteria is a PC city builder where the road network drives growth. You start with an empty map and incoming roads at its edges, then connect streets and build a settlement. Residents, businesses, schools and factories move in as the city develops, but only where people can reach them. If congestion becomes too severe, growth stops.

Roads and junctions

You can draw roads freely, choosing from nine types, from gravel roads to highways with speeds of up to 150 km/h. Each segment can have its own lane layout, with up to eight lanes in each direction, including turning lanes, asymmetric layouts and curbside parking. Lane arrows are editable on the map: disable a turn or direct multiple lanes into specific outgoing lanes.
