Tank building and combat

Armorpunk is a PC tank simulator built around designing and fighting in a 69-ton M1A2. You assemble the tank by hand, choosing its armor, gun, sights, ammunition, engine and transmission, tracks, secondary weapons, and paint. You can also remove exterior parts such as side skirts, storage boxes, and mudguards. Those choices affect the tank’s performance: heavier armor slows it down, and ammunition and equipment have prices tied to real military costs.

You can play in VR or on a flat screen. During missions, you operate the tank and manage its AI crew. The game lets you take the commander’s, gunner’s, loader’s, or driver’s seat; the crew handles the other three positions and follows orders given from the hatch or through a tactical map.
