Tactical card combat

Arcrelium is a turn-based tactical card-battler for PC, played on a hex grid. You use cards to move, attack and take other actions in combat. Your equipped gear determines the cards in your deck: switching a sword for a staff, for example, changes your combat cards to healing spells.

Hand size and card costs

Your hand is your only resource. You can hold up to five cards, and playing a card costs discarding cards from your hand. A powerful 3-cost card takes three discards, so choosing it limits what else you can do. You draw two fresh cards each turn, and your discard pile is reshuffled when the draw pile runs out.
