Game premise and mechanics

Archechord is a rhythm-based action game for PC that centers around attacking enemies by accurately hitting beats. Players use a single attack button, which operates automatically, targeting foes as long as they stay on the rhythm. Different rhythmic patterns produce distinct skills, and the complexity of the patterns influences the power of these moves.

Groove and Flow State

Completing rhythm patterns builds up a mechanic called Groove. When fully charged, players can activate Groove to enter Flow State. In this mode, time slows around the player, allowing for greater control over attacks. Skills executed during this state are accumulated and discharged together in a powerful burst once the Flow State ends.
