Aquamorta

Swamp town mystery

Aquamorta is a first-person horror adventure for PC, set in a swamp town abandoned after its people were twisted into hysteria by something ancient beneath the water. Your family left the place long ago, but it keeps claiming them. A family curse brings you back, and you travel through the poisoned waterways to learn what happened and what’s missing from the heart of the swamp.

The airboat

Your grandfather’s makeshift airboat is your only way through the swamp. It also keeps you breathing in the toxic air, so you’ll need to repair and clean it as you travel. Your grandfather left a journal with instructions for operating the machine and surviving the swamp; reading his notes helps you prepare for what lies deeper in the channels. The boat’s radio may pick up signals from somewhere in the swamp, with clues about what’s ahead. He also left a mysterious chest he insisted was important.
