American Gold Rush

Game premise and goal

American Gold Rush is a PC game where you play as a prospector in Dahlonega, Georgia during 1829. The objective is to dig for gold using a shovel. You manage resources like food and energy, making strategic decisions about how deep to dig and when to stop.

Resource management

In this game, every action you take has a cost. Digging deeper requires energy and time, both of which are limited. You must weigh the benefits of one more swing of the axe against the dwindling daylight and your remaining food supply. Each decision carries consequences, impacting your prospecting success.
