Alter-Egoism of Apocalypse

Story and setting

Alter-Egoism of Apocalypse is a story-focused, turn-based RPG about Shirayuki, a young woman whose mother was murdered when she was a child. Years later, after joining the army, Shirayuki receives a letter placing the killer in Hinomoto, her mother’s homeland. She travels there and enrolls at Iris Academy, where Agents train to wield mana. Shirayuki has no mana, but keeps pace with the other trainees through sheer will.

At the academy, she meets Yozuru, her new Buddy. As they grow closer, Shirayuki faces a choice between pursuing her mother’s killer and holding on to the people and things she cares about. The cases she investigates may connect to the murder.
