A Dark Tale of Betrayal and Longing: All Ashes and Illusions

In All Ashes and Illusions, players confront a world laden with betrayal and twisted perceptions. Set against a backdrop of royal tyranny, the narrative revolves around Yuel, a young prince burdened by the loss of his mother and the admonitions of his father. As he learns the bitter lesson that "women are snakes and liars," the story invites players to navigate a complex emotional landscape defined by a singular obsession: reclaiming the heart of his childhood nursemaid, Safiya.

Grief and Isolation in a Royal Setting

From a young age, Yuel is shaped by tragedy. Witnessing his mother’s execution at the hand of his father, King Khalil, deeply scars him. At just six years old, Yuel is forced to grapple with crushing sorrow while maintaining a stoic exterior. This emotional turmoil acts as the foundation for a character marked by distrust and emotional isolation, setting the stage for a poignant exploration of love and need. Players will find themselves immersed in Yuel’s profound loneliness, making each encounter feel laden with tension.
