Alaric's Quest

Alaric's Quest: A Hardcore Platformer Experience

Alaric's Quest challenges players with its hardcore platforming that disguises itself behind a colorful facade. Inspired by classic games such as Ghouls 'n Ghosts, it offers a punishing yet nostalgic gameplay experience. Early on, players are warned: don't expect a leisurely jaunt through its medieval landscapes. With a steep difficulty curve, you'll find yourself dying repeatedly, but there's a God Mode for those who prefer a more relaxed approach.

Navigate a Hand-Drawn Medieval World

In this vibrant 2D platformer, players take on the role of Alaric in a quest to recover his stolen book collection. The game constructs a detailed medieval world filled with challenging traps, intricate puzzles, and ruthless enemies. Each level demands precision and a keen eye for hidden paths as you traverse creatively designed environments. Expect no tutorials or hand-holding; exploration includes discovering the controls, reminiscent of the pre-internet gaming era.
