Airport Land: Air Traffic Control is a PC control tower game about sequencing takeoffs and landings. You decide which planes land, depart, or hold short of the runway, and manage their movements from pushback and taxiing through runway crossings, takeoff, and touchdown. Pilots respond using real air traffic control phraseology.

One runway at a time

The game starts at Sunny Atoll, where a single runway has to handle arrivals and departures. You might bring in a turboprop circling over the sea, taxi it to a stand, then push back and clear another plane for takeoff. New planes and jets add pressure over successive days. When several aircraft are approaching or waiting at the holding point, you have to time runway use closely: one plane needs to vacate before the next lands, and a departure may have to fit between them.
