Age of Medieval is a single-player medieval strategy game for PC about building a settlement and managing a House over generations. You begin with a hero, four families and a wagon carrying timber, stone, food and tools, then choose a place on the map to found your village. Its surroundings affect what’s within reach, from forest and river to stone and roads leading to neighbors.

Choose from three peoples, whose buildings and fighting styles differ, and five origins that determine your starting skills, gold and followers. Three difficulty settings change your starting wagon and families. Buildings go where you place them: lay out streets, position work sites and rotate structures to face the road. Assign villagers to jobs yourself at the town hall or let the steward place them where they’re needed.
