A game on your desktop

AfterCursor is a PC arcade game set on a work computer where an unfamiliar executable appears. You move your mouse to chase folders and collect them, while copies of your cursor trail behind and become hazards. The basic loop is to move, collect and evade: chain pickups to build your score, thread through narrow gaps and decide whether to risk one more folder.

As the field fills up, the pace and music rise. Special folders change how a run plays. Some effects help, while others make the next few seconds harder to handle.
