A tactical roguelite

Aegis Vanguard is a PC tactical strategy roguelite set in a dark fantasy world overtaken by corruption. You manage a squad of humanity’s champions, build their equipment and powers, and fight to take back control. Runs bring randomized encounters, bosses and tactical choices; your build has to adapt as you go.

Inventory and synergies

You collect gear and powers, then arrange them on a grid divided into sectors for your squad’s heroes. Position matters: equipment can gain strength from adjacency, and the items and powers you combine determine your build. Weapons, armor and trinkets can trigger attacks, buffs or debuffs on cooldowns, so arranging them well can make the squad operate as an automated fighting force.
