Game overview

Abyssal Descent is a 2D pixel-art action RPG where you play as a condemned soul who escapes from an eternal prison known as the Abyss. After being sentenced to endless punishment, you unexpectedly find your cell open after centuries. With your memory shattered, you realize you must confront Veyrath, known as the Eye of the Vault, and bring other condemned souls back to the surface.

Combat and mechanics

The game focuses on precise combat and class synergy. You face increasingly dangerous enemies, navigate traps, and explore hostile underground areas filled with hidden treasure and powerful bosses. The risk-reward system is significant, as you must make it back alive to keep any loot you acquire; if you die, everything collected during that descent is lost.
