Production and trading

A.L.P.A.C.A. is a PC strategy game about building production sites, moving cargo and competing in a market. You claim land, set up a production site, gather what it produces and bring those goods to market. Other players compete for the best systems and for sales, so you’ll need to keep an eye on what’s happening in the market as well as on your own supply.

Expeditions and taxes

You can send expedition teams to asteroids to collect pearls. Those pearls help pay taxes to Fat Snazzy Pete, while cargo routes bring their own risks: black holes, pirates and llama-related mishaps are among the hazards named in the game’s tongue-in-cheek framing. The central loop combines expanding your operation with getting goods and resources where they need to go.
