6 Days Out

A tent in the snow

6 Days Out is a PC survival horror game about a stranded group waiting for rescue. After you break your leg on the ice, the group pitches its tent where you fell. Nick, a dispatcher at the rescue station, says each evening that a helicopter is on its way.

Watch the entrance

You can’t walk, so you manage the tent and its entrance. At night, something outside speaks in your friends’ voices and looks like them. You can ask for the password, listen for phrases repeated exactly as before, and decide whether to open the flap. If it pulls the zipper, you hold it; if it presses the tent fabric, you push back. Snow on the tent’s slopes can interfere with the radio.
