ABOUT THIS GAME

Discovering the Baldwin RF-16 'Sharknose' in Train Simulator

Train Simulator: PRR RF-16 'Sharknose' Loco Add-On invites players to step into the cab of one of the most iconic locomotives in American rail history. Crafted by Digital Train Model, this expansion brings to life the Baldwin RF-16 with its distinctive Sharknose design and robust performance on PC, allowing enthusiasts to experience the thrill of diesel-powered railroading from the 1940s.

The Evolution of the Sharknose Engine Design

Introduced in 1948, the Baldwin RF-16 was part of a series aimed at modernizing the company's image and tackling mechanical issues that had plagued earlier models. The stylish Sharknose design was inspired by the Pennsylvania Railroad's T1 steam locomotive, blending aesthetic appeal with function. This add-on not only showcases a beautifully detailed exterior but also incorporates real historical context, making it a compelling purchase for history buffs and train lovers alike.
