Crusader Kings II: Conclave

The Intricacies of Crusader Kings II: Conclave

In Crusader Kings II: Conclave, players encounter a refined strategy experience where managing a kingdom now involves intricate interactions with your vassals. This major expansion heightens the stakes of court politics as your council demands a voice in governance, pushing you to navigate the delicate balance between power and influence in your realm.

Power Struggles and Vassal Dynamics

With Conclave, vassals are not mere subjects but powerful stakeholders whose opinions can shift the tide of your rule. As dukes and counts press for their share of power, ignoring their ambitions can spark plots against you. A council is no longer a formality, keep them content, or brace for potential civil unrest. Effective management of both councilor skills and personal loyalties becomes crucial to maintaining stability.
