Build Your Base and Manage Resources

Establishing and maintaining a fully operational base is crucial in XCOM. Players are tasked with developing a headquarters that includes research labs, barracks, and workshops, where the next line of defense can train and equip themselves. Resources are limited, and balancing the allocation of personnel and technology can significantly impact your chance of success during missions. Researching alien technologies not only enhances weaponry and armor but also unlocks skills to give your soldiers an edge in combat.
