Explore a Dark World in No Vacation for an Executioner

Set against the backdrop of the late 17th century, No Vacation for an Executioner thrusts players into the somber life of a disillusioned executioner. After abandoning his role at the gallows, he inadvertently unleashes a horde of monsters upon the land. In this retro horror action-RPG crafted for PC, players must confront grotesque foes while unraveling the mysteries surrounding the enigmatic “Gloomy Oil” that plagues this nightmarish world.

A Throwback to Classic Controls and Aesthetic

This indie title channels a familiar PS2 era feel, reminiscent of classics like Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill. The control scheme is intentionally retro, giving it a nostalgic touch for longtime fans of survival horror. Before purchasing, players are strongly encouraged to try the demo to ensure they are comfortable with this distinctive control style. If you’re a fan of older games, this retro mechanic might resonate with you.
