A Tragedy in Elvish

A Journey Through Karmabüttel's Conflict

A Tragedy in Elvish is a classic-style JRPG that invites players into the fraught world of Karmabüttel, where elves and humans vie for survival amid deep-seated prejudice. With over 20 hours of gameplay developed in RPG Maker, this PC title combines richly detailed backgrounds with charming pixel art to create a compellingly dark fantasy atmosphere. Fully voiced by a cast of veteran Japanese voice actors, the game draws players into its narrative with emotional depth.

Heartfelt Narrative of Love and Prejudice

Set against a backdrop of discrimination and strife, the story centers on Mari Rutolo, an elven woman who has borne the weight of human cruelty throughout her life. Within the harbor city of Elmport, Mari's path intersects with that of Uno, a boy suffering from a terminal illness. As their bond grows, Mari becomes determined to seek four ancient amulets rumored to hold the power to save his life. Her quest for hope challenges her views on humanity and drags her deeper into a world filled with both beauty and despair.
