The Civilization VI Byzantium & Gaul Pack is downloadable content designed for the base game Civilization VI. This DLC introduces two new civilizations, Byzantium and Gaul, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles.

New civilizations and mechanics

Byzantium has the ability to gain bonus faith and culture for conquering cities. Their unique unit, the Cataphract, is a powerful cavalry that can turn the tide in battles. Gaul focuses on building a strong economy through its unique ability that allows them to harvest resources more efficiently. They also feature the Gaulish Warrior as their unique melee unit, specializing in early game combat.
