Volatiles on PC

Volatiles is a top-down action roguelike set inside a nightmare experiment in your own mind. You fight alien hordes in arenas you build as you go, then wake in a water-filled sensory tank when a run ends. Back in a covert lab, you can strengthen your mind and return to the nightmare.

Building the arena

Each run starts on a single tile. As you gain experience and level up, you place new tiles to shape the battlefield. Keep areas open to leave room to dodge, or make narrow paths that funnel the swarm. Every tile changes the arena and can also bring a weapon, upgrade, healing, tool, defense, or risky synergy. Your choices shape both your build and the space where you fight.
