The Fool's Journey

The Witch Trials Come Alive in The Fool's Journey

The Fool's Journey transports players into the unsettling world of the Salem Witch Trials through a roguelike deckbuilder that combines strategic gameplay with rich storytelling. Navigate the treacherous landscape where every choice impacts your fate. With ASCII-style graphics immersing you in the period's eerie atmosphere, players can build their decks and face the chilling consequences of their decisions across procedurally generated maps.

Strategic Depth with the Reversed Mechanic

At the heart of the game's strategy lies its distinctive reversed mechanic. Players can choose to play any reversible card in an upright position for safety or flip it to unleash a more powerful effect, but at a risk. This duality of risk and reward adds layers of complexity to each encounter. Will you fortify your defenses, or gamble for greater rewards? Your tactical choices will define your journey through the game's dark narrative.
