Starexcess

Fight Against a Tyrant in Starexcess

Starexcess transports players into a vivid world where they must escape a tyrannical government and save the planet Shambala. In this exciting vertical shoot 'em up, inspired by the nostalgic 16-bit era, players take on the role of a resistance fighter, battling through relentless waves of enemies. The game supports local co-op gameplay, allowing for a two-player experience reminiscent of classic arcade days, perfect for those who enjoy sharing their gaming moments.

Dynamic Combat with Strategy

What sets Starexcess apart is its tactical approach to combat. Each ship features two distinct weapons: a primary and a secondary. While players can switch between these weapons to adapt to different enemy types, changing your loadout directly impacts your ship's speed. This mechanic requires not only quick reflexes but also strategic thinking, timing weapon switches is just as crucial as dodging enemy fire.
