A road without a chosen one

Roadworn is a sandbox RPG for PC set in a world of rival states, wild factions and bandit gangs. You begin in a small village with a hero and two companions, without reputation or allies. There’s no chosen-one storyline or guide leading you through the world: you build a band and earn what you gain on the road.

Build a band

You can recruit from 10 playable races: humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, undead, goblins, ratmen, minotaurs, ogres and demons. Each race has its own classes, and a recruit’s race can affect the mood of other members. Some combinations gradually strain the group. Every fighter judges your decisions, and anyone whose loyalty falls too low can leave, including your hero.
