Player Count 1

An MMORPG after shutdown

Player Count is a single-player story game set in an MMORPG whose service has ended. You’re assigned to put its world in order, where a silent fountain, unanswered support requests and abandoned records remain. Mari, the operations-assistant system, gives you daily reports as you look around.

Repairs and choices

You can intervene in the world three times a day, choosing which faults to fix and which requests or records to attend to. Repairs involve clicking, rubbing and arranging things on screen. You can’t fulfill every request, and your choices shape the world and lead to different endings.
