Pedro (C64/Spectrum)

Relive the Joy of Pedro on PC

Pedro, a classic from the arcade genre, hails from the fertile grounds of 1984 and was originally available on the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64. Players step into the shoes of Pedro, a tenacious gardener whose primary goal is to safeguard his vibrant flower garden from a variety of pesky animals. Now, this remastered version combines nostalgia with modern enhancements, all while allowing PC players to engage with this delightful retro gem.

Protecting the Garden: Core Gameplay Mechanics

In Pedro, players must defend their flowers against an onslaught of invading critters. Collecting resources such as bricks and compost is essential for creating barriers that block these pests. Meanwhile, gathering seeds enables players to replant any flowers that may be eaten. Engaging the invading animals is as simple as stomping on them, turning the gameplay into a frantic but enjoyable challenge. Surviving the time limit or defeating all foes clears the path to subsequent levels.
