Grid-based tower defense

OVC is a PC tower defense game where enemies move across a grid toward your bases. You place defenses and build up your bases to delay their attacks, choosing upgrades and tools to manage each wave. The goal is to keep the enemies from destroying your bases, though the game frames survival as delaying the inevitable.

Base builds and augmentations

The six base specializations have distinct identities, and ten augmentations add effects beyond basic stat increases. They can help bases soak damage or snipe enemies, freeze the board, create gravity wells, or link bases into a network. Those choices shape how your defenses handle incoming enemies, rather than serving only as incremental boosts.
