Not Quite A Fairy Tale

Not Quite A Fairy Tale: A Roguelike with a Twist

Not Quite A Fairy Tale invites players to enter a chaotic world of comedy and catastrophe. This PC roguelike game turns the genre on its head by embracing failure as a centerpiece of gameplay. In an environment filled with absurd characters and nonsensical challenges, players will find themselves in a realm where each dungeon dive leads to laughter, frustration, and new strategies crafted from misfortune.

Embrace the Absurdity of Dungeons

Procedurally generated environments serve as the backdrop for your journey, where dungeons feel more like vast IKEA mazes than traditional caverns. You'll encounter quirky foes and bizarre allies, all while challenging the very notion of heroism. Each death becomes an opportunity, with misadventures teaching you how to navigate traps, evade enemies, and erect tactics from the ashes of defeat.
