Mystic Land: The Search for Maphaldo

A Journey Through Mystic Land

Mystic Land: The Search for Maphaldo invites players to travel back to the roots of fantasy role-playing games. Originally envisioned in 1994, it draws inspiration from classics like Wizardry, Might and Magic, and Eye of the Beholder. This revival, built on decades of nostalgia, promises to encapsulate the essence of old-school RPGs while incorporating modern conveniences for the PC platform.

Rediscovering Lost Dreams

The game's development began with a team of friends whose youthful ambition faced numerous hurdles. Life took them in different directions as they pursued careers and personal projects, leaving their dream trapped in the past. After stumbling upon early versions, maps, and concept art, the team decided it was time to bring their vision to life, 25 years later. This history lays a rich foundation for the game, allowing fans of the genre to connect with its story.
