Masterpiece Malpractice is a PC puzzle game about recreating damage to famous paintings. Each case gives you a distorted painting and an untouched copy. You choose distortion lenses, place them over the canvas and adjust them until your version matches the distorted reference. The goal is to reproduce the mess, not repair it.

Tools and matching

The game has 13 distortion techniques, including inflating, compressing, dragging, smudging, spiraling, rippling, stretching and pixelating. Early puzzles use one alteration; later ones combine up to five. You have to identify which techniques fit the image and where to place them.
