How to Save the Villainess

A different ending

How to Save the Villainess is a PC fantasy game about a reader who wakes up as the hero of a novel and tries to save its doomed villainess, Edel Valenstein. The novel ends with the Dark Lord defeated and Edel dead. Knowing that fate, the hero sets out to change the story.

You spend six years at a magic academy, where you can study spells in the library, train at the grounds, and spend time with friends. Getting closer to Edel is part of that school life: she’s proud, headstrong, and quick to pick a fight. Talking with her and facing challenges together reveals sides of her the novel didn’t show.
