Hanzi: Five Gates

Building an army from characters

汉字过五关 is a PC strategy game where you form an army by combining Chinese character tiles. Join 关 and 羽 to make 关羽, or 枪 and 兵 to make 枪兵. You can also separate, swap, and upgrade tiles to change your formation.

Formation and battles

Place troops in two rows of three, planning for turn order, attack patterns, equipment, and abilities. Once you commit, battles play out automatically.
