Cosmicon Plague

A war against the Union

Cosmicon Plague is a horizontal shmup for PC set during the Union’s planned invasion of Earth. You play as a U.E.S.R. pilot, one of the fleet’s best, who was judged unstable after a series of incidents and sent to an isolated checkpoint. Now, with a small commanding force, you’re sent to fight the Union and protect humanity.

The story describes the pilot living at the checkpoint with a few pets before the invasion begins. The Union is a super-cosmic empire, and its forces bring their own super-weapons into the fight.
