What the game is

Birch is a desktop companion application for PC that places small, living birds directly on your Windows desktop. Instead of being confined to a window, these birds wander around your screen, interacting with your taskbar and desktop icons as you work. The game doesn’t require feeding or managing these birds; they merely provide company while you perform other tasks.

Bird behavior and interactions

The game includes multiple bird species, each with its own personality and movement style. You will notice various birds walking, flying, resting, and reacting to your presence. The birds respond to your interactions, becoming familiar with you over time, which influences their behavior, such as sitting closer or bringing a friend into view.
