All Fours in Ashes

Challenge the Dead in All Fours in Ashes

In All Fours in Ashes, players delve into a chilling winter in New England where restless spirits play for high stakes. As a medium, you face off against colonial souls in a card game where victory means peace for the departed, while defeat siphons your very essence. This single-player roguelike combines compelling narrative elements with the intense tactics of the 19th-century card game, All Fours, also known as Setback or Auction Pitch.

Unearth Souls with Card Play

Every session pits you against a different spirit, each with nuanced skills and memories that manipulate the rules of the game. As you call forth these lost souls to the table, understanding their quirks becomes essential. One might prevent you from winning a hand with trump cards, while another could devour your tens. Master their individual strengths and weaknesses to regain control and secure your survival.
