Inside the human body

Active Immunity is a PC twin-stick bullet-hell roguelite set inside the human body. You pick an immune cell, fight through infected tissue, and try to survive 25 escalating waves of bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and other pathogens. Each run ends with a campaign boss on wave 25, or continues into endless mode if you clear the campaign.

Cells and combat

Each cell has its own stats, fire pattern and special ability. You start with the Natural Killer Cell, a glass cannon that fires a 20-bullet radial burst. Reach wave 10 with a cell to unlock the next: the T Helper Cell uses support fire and a cytokine nova, while the B Cell spreads antibodies and marks pathogens to take 35% more damage. The Macrophage dashes through enemies, the Neutrophil’s extracellular trap destroys bullets, and the Dendritic Cell boosts your damage 1.75x with antigen presentation.
