1000-Carat Organs

A government weapons project

1000-Carat Organs is a PC shooter set in an alternate Tokyo in 2003. An ancient relic has caused people to transform into monsters, and organs taken from the mutated people are now traded for enormous prices. The Japanese government has been secretly studying the relic and starts a project to use its power to create obedient soldiers.

You play as a woman sent on missions for that project. The government has modified and enhanced test subjects of different ages and backgrounds, and its new experiment is tasked with fighting illegal organizations and recovering biological specimens. The work takes place in a city where factions are also trying to stop the project or take its power for themselves.
