枝江畔之梦

A fan-made visual novel

枝江畔之梦 is a fan-made AVG (visual novel) for PC, based on the A-SOUL girl group. You follow five girls in Zhijiang as they face pressures from real life and pursue a future onstage. The game’s setting and character portrayals are fan fiction and don’t represent the real members’ current lives.

Story and characters

The story centers on friendship, dreams and choices between reality and an imagined future. Its main plot runs for more than 100,000 Chinese characters, with several shorter stories alongside it. The five characters have different lives: one is a socially awkward young heiress, another teaches dance, while a former A-SOUL member is now a popular singer in Zhijiang. The others are a roaming artist and a law graduate working as an intern lawyer in the United States.
