Zanore: Echoes of the Shards

Vael in Zanore

Zanore: Echoes of the Shards is a 2D action-adventure Metroidvania for PC, set in a world shaped by remnants of a forgotten past. You play as Vael, a lone wanderer exploring ancient ruins, overgrown caverns, forgotten sanctuaries, and hostile lands. The world is interconnected, with hidden paths and chambers to find alongside routes through dangerous areas.

World and exploration

The environments use a hand-painted visual style. As you move through them, you’ll come across ancient mechanisms and remnants of Zanore’s history, as well as creatures and guardians that block the way. Some chambers and paths are hidden beyond the obvious route, making exploration part of uncovering what happened in the world before Vael arrived.
