Your Friend's Mom: A New Kind of Desktop Companion

Your Friend's Mom transforms your desktop into a playful social space. This interactive app for PC features a local large language model (LLM) that roleplays as the mother of one of your Steam friends. Characterized by a whimsical yet relatable experience, it adds a unique twist to everyday desktop applications, allowing for light conversation or deeper chats with a virtual character designed to entertain.

Customizable Context and Companionship

Each time you launch the app, it randomly selects one of your Steam friends to set the conversation context. This feature brings a personalized touch to each interaction. The character can talk genuinely about a variety of topics tailored to the selected friend, ensuring that chats never feel repetitive. Should you want to switch things up, it’s easy to change your focus mid-conversation, allowing for a fun blend of familiarity and unpredictability.
