You Are Not The Hero

Unconventional Heroism in You Are Not The Hero

You Are Not The Hero invites players into a quirky twist on the traditional RPG genre, available on PC. Set in a whimsical world where heroism bears unexpected consequences, this game flips the narrative script. Instead of saving the day, players assume the role of Petula, a frustrated bystander caught in the chaos generated by self-proclaimed heroes.

Navigate a Chaotic World of Heroes and Villains

Petula isn't your typical protagonist. An unemployed, emotionally charged woman, she becomes the reluctant figure in a story filled with heroes scavenging through her village. The royal army's arrival marks a turning point, compelling her to confront these supposed heroes after they swipe her treasured pendant. This initial encounter sets off a personal quest that pushes Petula to reclaim not just her pendant, but also control over her home.
