刑死のためのカウンセル: A Dark Narrative Experience

In 刑死のためのカウンセル, players encounter a gripping visual novel that delves into the haunting lives of two death row inmates. Set in the industrial city of Mistbridge, players take on the role of a prison chaplain tasked with counseling these convicted murderers as their execution approaches. This unique premise poses fundamental moral questions surrounding crime, punishment, and human connection.

Surrounded by Moral Complexity

The story unfolds in the wake of a notorious criminal case known as the "焼尽問答" (Judgment of Incineration), where a priest was subjected to a brutal death. The duality of the characters presents a rich backdrop: 004番 パニ, the brutal executioner with lapses in memory, and 888番 ギル, the cunning instigator from a religious lineage. Their contrasting backgrounds provoke thought about faith, guilt, and the potential for redemption, creating a narrative that is both compelling and unsettling.
