XCOM 2 - PS4

Tactics and Strategy in XCOM 2

In XCOM 2, players engage in a complex turn-based tactical strategy that challenges conventional gameplay norms. As humanity struggles under alien oppression, players must rebuild the XCOM organization to fend off these threats. Each decision counts, whether commanding a squad in battle or managing resources back at your mobile headquarters, the Avenger. This title emphasizes strategic planning and adaptability, demanding both quick thinking and long-term strategy.

Commanding the Avenger

The heart of your operations lies in the Avenger, an alien supply craft repurposed as XCOM's mobile base. Players control various aspects of the ship, including mission planning and resource management. Choosing where to deploy forces and how to nurture support among the global populace are key elements of the game. Your choices can vastly alter the outcome of missions, making strategic command exhilarating yet unpredictable.
